Soiva 2024 Schedule & Tuition
Schedule
Monday, July 15
- Arrival in Seattle
- Campers arrange their own transportation to SeaTac or directly to Gwinwood Retreat Center
- Optional bus transportation from SeaTac airport to Gwinwood Retreat Center
- Arrival at Gwinwood Retreat Center in time for dinner
Tuesday, July 16 – Saturday, July 20
- Daily instruction and activities
- 3 meals + snacks provided each day
Sunday, July 21
- Depart from the retreat center after breakfast
- Bus transport to the National Nordic Museum
- Lunch provided at the museum
- 2 p.m. Performance showcase, free and open to all, courtesy of the museum
- 3:30 p.m. Close of Soiva Camp
- Campers arrange their own transportation back home
Tuition
Soiva 2024 tuition of $1,300 includes:
- Bus transportation to and from the camp center (optional)
- 7 days & 6 nights lodging (shared gendered cabin rooms with bunk beds)
- 18 meals + snacks
- Instruction
- Recreation & activities
- 1 private 30-minute lesson (optional)
Applicants must pay an initial $500 when submitting an application. The $500 deposit will be applied to the camp tuition total.
Cancellation policy: This deposit may be refunded if the camp reservation is cancelled by June 1, 2024. There will be no refund of deposit after June 1.
June 1 is the final date for payment of the balance of $800.
Tuition Breakdown:
$1,300 (camp tuition total cost) – $500 (application fee)= $800 (due June 1)
