BOOK LOY

Suzanne Matson

.

In 2006 Finlandia Foundation National launched the Lecturer of the Year (LOY) program to share interesting topics by experts in their fields related to the history and culture of Finland and Finnish America.

FFN chapters are invited to host the LOY for the enrichment and enjoyment of their members and guests.

HOSTING THE LOY

The hosting organization is responsible for the LOY honorarium of $500, paid directly to Suzanne Matson.

The LOY’s travel expenses to events organized by/for FFN chapters within the United States are covered by the FFN travel grant. The host chapter is responsible for handling and paying for local transportation and accommodation arrangements for the LOY.

The chapter will work with the LOY to provide audio/visual or other support as required for the presentation.

ARRANGEMENTS

As appearance arrangements are made between the event organizers and the LOY, the LOY program coordinator needs to be informed of the schedule. In case of problems or conflicts, the program coordinator may be called upon for advice.

Direct all scheduling information and questions to LOY Coordinator is Jessica Ann:
