The 44th annual Kalevala Day will be a tribute to the Finnish sauna and sauna culture, and include a sauna built between 1914 and 1918. There will be sauna stories and songs, a presentation about Finnish sauna culture, dancing and music by the Finnish Choral Society, Evergreen Kantele group and solo by Maria Mannisto.

Activities geared to adults at this Salolampi Language Village weekend may include baking/cooking demonstrations, handicrafts/weaving or small wooden projects.
