Dr. Paul Lehto presents "Adventures in Discovery" for all who want to learn more about their roots in Finland.
Activities geared to adults at this Salolampi Language Village weekend may include baking/cooking demonstrations, handicrafts/weaving or small wooden projects. Significant time will be dedicated to connections around music, art or handicrafts; games, books and other cultural resources; and enjoyment of food, coffee and sauna together, all with a common Finnish undercurrent.
Both days of the Festival are filled with music, dancing, food, lectures, demonstration, vendors and activities for young and old alike. The Viking Encampment and Sami Village will once again be present.

Soile Anderson and Eleanor Ostman will demonstrate making the popular Finnish Celebration Cake in their FFN Lecturer of the Year program as part of the Cook & Eat series.
The symposium features Nordic-American artists from Minnesota and Wisconsin in a panel discussion, followed by refreshments, meet-the-artists, and music by Laulu Aika.
The 37th festival features Scandinavian food, baked goods, and merchandise for sale. Viking reenactors will be present with interactive activities for the whole family. Come gather information about the Nordic countries and enjoy music, entertainment, and door prizes!
