The symposium features Nordic-American artists from Minnesota and Wisconsin in a panel discussion, followed by refreshments, meet-the-artists, and music by Laulu Aika.
The 37th festival features Scandinavian food, baked goods, and merchandise for sale. Viking reenactors will be present with interactive activities for the whole family. Come gather information about the Nordic countries and enjoy music, entertainment, and door prizes!

A day of celebration (think spring). In Finland, it is known as Vappu, in Sweden Valborg’s Mass Eve. Complimentary hot dogs, sima (think of mead), doughnuts (munkki), and coffee. Bring the family to welcome spring at the Vappu juhla (Mayday party). We will provide the makkara (hot dogs) and buns, please bring a salad, side dish, or dessert to share. We will eat, sing, and play games and have a mölkky tournament, so if you have a mölkky set, bring it along.
