NY: Centennial Forum

November 9, 2017 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

This is a high-level and engaging event with international and American speakers on foreign policy and current world affairs. The theme of the evening, Changing the Game,  asks: “How can we manage and harness the political and economic changes in the world today?” The speakers will  address the question from different angles and engage the audience.

The Finland 100 celebration event is in honor of Former Finnish President and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Martti Ahtisaari, who is one of world’s most successful peace mediators. It is co-hosted by American Friends of Crisis Management Initiative (CMI),  Finlandia Foundation National and Finland’s American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham).

Tickets are $150 per person, and invitations will be mailed in September to those who register before the end of August. Please send your name and contact information to Ritva Metso at ritva.metso @ americanfriendsofcmi.org

Ticket income will be used as a contribution to CMI’s conflict resolution work around the world and to defer the cost of the event, which will include a reception with music by Finnish cellist Jussi Makkonen and pianist Nazig Azezian as part of the Finland Centennial Forum, a Finland 100 Signature Event of Finlandia Foundation National.
