A celebration of the epic Finnish tale with choral music, folkdancing, refreshments and featured presenter Dr. Börje Vähämäki, one of the FFN Centenary Lecturers. His topic, “Kalevala and the World View of the Finns,” is about Finnish Identity, how it has been formed by historical events, trends, and by Finland’s geographical and political realities.
