Hanka Homestead Pelkie

Join the three-day, four-location celebration of Midsummer in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The festivities begin at Hanka Homestead on Friday, and move to the Finnish American Heritage Center in Hancock on Saturday, where there will be a tori/marketplace, music and folk dances. Oaks Park Portland

Everyone is welcome at this summer solstice festival! It's always a fun, family-friendly day filled with games, dancing, food, costumes, music, Nordic vendors and crafts and, of course, the raising of the Maypole at Portland's Oaks Park. Finlandia Foundation Columbia-Pacific Chapter will host a food booth and activities.
