Finland 100 Events

MFAHS Annual Pikkujoulu: A FInland 100 Northland event. Doors open at noon with program beginning at 12:45 p.m. in the Great Lakes Ballroom at the Holiday Inn, Duluth.

Celebration of Finland's 100th anniversary at the Duluth Depot Great Hall and Steffl Gallery. Everyone is invited to the Finnish-American Art Exhibit & Finnish Independence Gala, with refreshments and live music. Program at 6:30 p.m. "On December 6, everyone is Finnish!"

Immerse yourself in Finnish culture while celebrating 100 years of Finland’s independence at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis. Emmi Kainulainen, a Finnish designer and model, will be the Gala’s emcee. At the Dove of Peace Lutheran Church,  join us to celebrate our "Little Christmas" Pikkujoulu potluck with an annual Independence Day presentation.

A visit by Joulu Pukki will add to the fun at the potluck Little Christmas luncheon celebration for members and friends of the Finnish American Society of West-Central Michigan, at Church of the Saviour in Coopersville, Michigan.

Come and join the greatest Finnish Christmas sing-a-long in the Twin Cities. Featuring Kauneimmat Joululaulut (Beautiful Christmas Songs), the popular sing-a-long program presented at churches across Finland during December.
