Second annual winter event. Just show up and do any or none of the mentioned activities and hang out. Meet us at the Natural Harvest Food Coop in Virginia at 2:30pm and then we'll head to Britt to play on private trails until it's time to warm up and chill out.

DC: Finnish Libraries Exhibition

Embassy of Finland in Washington D.C. is hosting the Mind-Building exhibition, which presents Finnish public libraries and library architecture throughout time. The exhibition will be open for public every first Tuesday of the month from February until June (February 4, March 3, April 7, May 5 and June 2, 2020), from 4pm to 7pm.

MN: Evening of Poetry with the Finns

Featured poets include: Gary Boelhower, Daniel and Sandra Oyinloye, James (Jim) Johnson (read by Marlene Wisuri) Sheila Packa, Steve Leppälä, and Johan Ludvig Runeberg (read by Hanna Erpestad). A special Finnish treat, "Runeberg Torte" (Runebergintorttu) in honor of the poet, will be served.

WA: Nordic Stories – Finland

Today's children's story is Ricky, Rocky, and Ringo's Colorful Day by Mauri Kunnas. The first Thursday of the month, Nordic Stories features tales along with a fun craft project.
