Celebrate the holidays with the food, crafts, music and dance of Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
The Cokato Finnish American Historical Society holds its annual Pikkujoulu ("Little Christmas") with candle lighting at the Cokato Finnish Cemetery at 3:30 p.m., followed by a potluck (with Finnish coffee, of course) at the Cokato Township Hall at 4 p.m. Everyone is welcome!
"Advancements in Arts and Knowledge" is the theme of the program featuring Risto Miikkulainen on artificial intelligence, and performance by pianist Ruusamari Teppo and cellist Katri Ervamaa, plus traditional music by FinnFolk and dinner.

Ray Chen presents a new work by renowned Finnish composer Magnus Lindberg, Lalo's Symphonie espagnole and Brahms' richly autumnal Fourth Symphony complete this program led by Finnish conductor Hannu Lintu. December 2, 3 & 4.
Key Note speaker: Miia Rainne, Ambassador, Deputy Permanent Representative of Finland to the UN at Scandinavia House. Markus Kaitila and Eeppi Ursin will be performing together with Demetrios Jussi Tsinopoulos, Tenor. Wine, refreshments, and hors d'oeuvres will be served. Ticket link below.
