The San Francisco Symphony welcomes new Music Director Esa-Pekka Salonen and eight Collaborative Partners, including violinist Pekka Kuusisto, with a digital concert event that charts a new direction for the Orchestra.

Cellist Jussi Makkonen and pianist Nazig Azezian perform beloved pieces by Jean Sibelius in a special program of Finlandia Foundation National. A reception (by reservation) precedes the concert.

Listen to the Finnish story Santa's Littlest Helper, by Anu Stohner and Henrike Wilson. After the story Sara Jensen will teach kids how to make a craft with items found at home. Cost: Free; RSVP required.
