Great jazz from the Nordic countries is showcased during this 17th annual event, June 13-25, hosted by the embassies of Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. This program at the Embassy of Finland features SOLINA, which includes FFN past Performers of the Year Olli Hirvonen and Eeppi Ursin, and FFN grant recipient Kaisa Maensivu.

Celebrate the season at the Summer Festival featuring the Dana M. Sulin Memorial Chess Tournament, outdoor games, food, art and book sale, a variety of entertainment including FFN past Performer of the Year Eeppi Ursin, and the awarding of scholarships.

The Folk School at Midsummer exhibition features the work of seven Finnish American Folk School instructors, as well as the work by students produced in their workshops.

This celebration combines with the Midwest Viking Festival for lots of music, dance and Viking encampments and featuring FFN Performer of the Year Ida Metsberg .
Celebrate Midsummer with a dinner at 6, Midsummer pole, kokko/bonfire at 8 p.m., with FinnFolk performing.
