Finlandia Foundation has declared the last week of February "National Sauna Week," to build awareness and appreciation of this aspect of Finnish and Finnish-American culture, with activities, online programming and a wealth of information to come to the FFN website.

Students in the advanced Finnish class at Brigham Young University and members of Finlandia Foundation Utah will enjoy a private sauna party, including authentic vihtas and traditional foods.
Celebrate the sauna beginning with a Pannukakku Breakfast, bake sale and artist tables (8 - 10 a.m.), followed by a presentation about traditional Finnish sauna, and fun sauna sing-along led by Roy Helander. The sauna museum will be open from 9 til noon, and ski/snowshoe/hiking trails will beckon.
