Finlandia Foundation has declared the last week of February "National Sauna Week," to build awareness and appreciation of this aspect of Finnish and Finnish-American culture, with activities, online programming and a wealth of information to come to the FFN website.

In the Coeur d'Alene area, Toasty Mobile Saunas hosts a fun series of events to celebrate National Sauna Week. Check the schedule for activities on the 19th, 20th, 21st, 23rd and 25th at the link below. All times are PST.

Fingers Lake Finns will enjoy a potluck dinner, view short sauna videos and hold a discussion about sauna in the days of the area's Finnish settlement history as well as today.
