Past FFN Lecturer of the Year and UWM Professor Thomas Dubois presents “Staying Sami in a Time of Massive Change”

This talk will present the ways that modern Sami seek to maintain their identity and culture as an indigenous people in a time of massive change. It will look at the ways Sami look back at their traditions, past livelihoods, customs, and work to preserve and adapt these in the modern world. Desserts, snacks, drinks. $5 donation.
