Metal music is one of the biggest cultural exports from Finland, and many people know about Finland because of metal bands like Insomnium, Children of Bodom, Nightwish, and so many others. Veriteras strives to play a very Finnish style of melodic death metal. The name of the band is the combination of two Finnish words – veri (blood) and teräs (steel), and their guitarist Santtu is Finnish.
