NM: A WISC Conversation with Tarja Halonen, former President of Finland

The WISC Conversation, Leadership from Values and Principles in a Changing World, will focus on how to lead from a good set of values and principles with the goals of obtaining sustainability, improving equality and gender balance, and pursuing the United Nation’s Millennium Development Goals.
WISC is The Women’s International Study Center at Acequia Madre House in Santa Fe. The event will be held at the New Mexico Museum Auditorium.
This is a Finland 100 SIgnature Event of Finlandia Foundation National.
Speakers are:
Tarja Halonen was the 11th President of the Republic of Finland (2000-2012) and Finland’s first female head of state.
Halla Tómasdóttir is an experienced human resources and organizational development professional, and was runner-up in Iceland’s Presidential Elections in 2016.
Willa Seldon is a partner in The Bridgespan Group (San Francisco) a nonprofit advisory group and resource for mission-driven organizations and philanthropists.
