Kirsi St. Marie
Kirsi St. Marie is an engineering professional with experience in consulting, research, and as an engineer in Finland and the U.S. Currently she is a business analyst for the environmental technology industry. Prior to that she worked with data management and computational fluid dynamics for the energy sector.
She received her M.Sc. in Technology and Licentiate of Science in Technology degrees from Helsinki University of Technology (now Aalto University). Kirsi worked for Outokumpu Research and at the University of Utah before moving into computational fluid dynamics research and development, and engineering consulting.
She is the president of Finlandia Foundation Colorado, and has previously acted as a volunteer language teacher and treasurer for the Finnish School of Denver. She has also extensively volunteered for local schools, organizations and university student guilds.
Kirsi lives in Littleton, Colorado with her husband Robert and two daughters, both college students. She is passionate about sharing Finnish culture and customs and in her free time enjoys hiking, skiing, reading and travel.
