Elaine M. Kumpula

Elaine Kumpula devoted her professional career to the complex practice of employment-based immigration law. In retirement, she is fully enjoying family time, greatly expanded hours to be outdoors, and travel.

She earned a BS in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus, and obtained her JD from the University of Minnesota Law School.

Elaine grew up in Esko, a small town with a strong Finnish legacy in northern Minnesota. She currently serves as Honorary Consul of Finland in Minneapolis and is on the board of the Finnish-American Chamber of Commerce – Minnesota.
