Bert Stromholm & Brent Buswell
Bert Stromholm of Pompton Plains, New Jersey, an exceptionally talented accordion player and entertainer, performed and played dances since his youth, either alone or as a member of various bands. Bert wrote shows and was very actively involved for years in organizing Scandinavian events and hosting performers both from Finland and the USA.
Brent Buswell of Donegal, Pennsylvania, graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in professional music. He began playing piano when he was three years old. At age 12, Brent was given his first full size accordion and since then, it became his main instrument. He also plays the organ and percussion. The repertoire that Brent performs consists of a wide range of classical, American standards, novelty, Christian and Scandinavian music, to name a few. Brent, who has been blind from birth, performed together with Bert for over ten years. The versatile, talented performers enjoyed working as a team, and presented a variety of shows with any combination of dance music, concert, show, sing-a-longs and workshops.
