This Finnish-American mid-winter festival celebrates Karhu kylkeänsä kääntää (The bear rolls over) and takes its name from the name day for Heikki (Henrik’s day, January 19).
Events happen throughout January, with the last Saturday of the month the big day-long celebration filled with fun family activities, parade, Tori marketplace, Finnish buffet, Polar Bear Dive and dance.
