Jane McGuire
Jane is a second-generation Finnish American and the granddaughter of Leonora and Y. A. Paloheimo, both founding members of the Finlandia Foundation. Her grandfather served as president of Finlandia Foundation from 1953 to 1962 and was also appointed the first Honorary Finnish Consul for Southern California, Arizona, and New Mexico. Her mother, who was born in Finland and immigrated to the United States in 1948, instilled in her children the meaning of sisu.
Jane currently serves as the Finlandia Foundation National representative for the Paloheimo Foundation.
She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and their two sons. Her husband serves in the U.S. Army as a Master Sergeant. Jane holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University and has worked at Superieur Electrolytes since 2019, a company founded by her brother and sister-in-law, both Finnish Americans.
