Miska Kajanus

Finlandia Foundation National is pleased to announce the 2024 Performer of the Year, Miska Kajanus.

Miska is a Finnish-American actor, comedian, musician and filmmaker living in Los Angeles. As an actor, he can be seen in Modern Family, Hulu’s Dollface, and the Netflix Original Series Bordertown. He has also appeared in numerous Finnish films, TV shows and music videos, and the feature films Insanity (which he also directed) and Couples of Wife Carrying; both can be found on multiple online platforms, including Amazon Prime.

As a comedian, Miska has opened for Ismo Leikola before audiences across the U.S. He also hosts his podcast With Miska, found on various podcast platforms as well as YouTube.

Miska is now ready to present his solo show, My Immigrant Story, a comedic monologue in which he shares his funny, lifelong journey from Finland to America.

FFN chapters can enjoy a versatile and original performer, who will be available for POY appearances from January through December of 2024.
