MI: 100 Years of Finnish Independence

Finland gained independence from Russia on December 6, 1917.  Independence Day is officially celebrated on this day in Finland. The Marquette Regional History Center hosts an evening of the foods, music, and arts of the Finnish culture, with FFN Centenary Lecturer Sharon Franklin Rahkonen. All ages welcome. Free to the public, donations appreciated.
