Virtual Scandinavian Film Festival: TOVE

The 22nd annual celebration of films from the Nordic countries is online this year. TOVE, about artist Tove Jansson (of Moomin fame), is featured from 8 a.m.-midnight January 14-17. TOVE is the 2020 Oscar submission from Finland.

FFN Grant Application Deadline

FFN welcomes grant applications for programs related to Finnish America or Finland culture, historic preservation, the arts, music, film, books, events, history and more. All applications must be submitted by email to arrive at the FFN office by 11:59 p.m., Sunday, January 17. Grants will be awarded in spring. Click below for details.

FFN Scholarship Application Deadline

Full-time undergraduate and graduate students of all academic disciplines who are currently enrolled in accredited post-secondary schools in the United States and Finland are eligible for FFN scholarships. Applications must be emailed to FFN and received by 11:59 p.m. (PST) on February 1. Click below for details.
